With the sunshine very much on its way for parts of the UK this week and into next, your shoe-game may need an upgrade – and John Lewis shoppers are going wild for a pair of pumps for under £50.

In the past 24 hours alone, 13 pairs of the black John Lewis ANYDAY Hennriette Point Toe Mary Jane Sachetto Ballerina Pumps have been purchased – with plenty of sizes still available (from 3-8).

Sadly, we were too slow in getting the Bright Red pair in our basket, but praying that come back in stock very soon.

These beauties are designed to look like ballet slippers, blending elegance with comfort in a way that’s just dreamy.

Here at Metro HQ, we’re obsessed with any shoe that has a pointed toe right now, and the elasticated ruched Mary Jane strap is both chic and practical.

As for keeping these pumps looking their best? Well, it’s actually easier than you’d imagine. Just clean them regularly with good quality neutral or matching shoe polish. Use a soft cloth to apply the polish, let it dry so the leather can soak it up, and then buff away any excess with a cloth or brush. Voila!
